December 23: Love as Understanding and Patience...
"Love is not about how many days, months, or years you have been together. Love is about how much you love each other every single day."
Dear Readers,
Evan had always been someone who rushed through life. He valued productivity, efficiency, and the satisfaction of checking things off his list. But as he sat with his father on this quiet evening before Christmas, Evan began to realize that love often required something more understanding and patience.
His father, now older, had been slowing down in recent years. Ever since when Evan was separated from his father, Evan and his sister’s minds were filled with poison against their father so they hated him, and now reconnected after so many years. Evan sometimes grew frustrated with his father's forgetfulness or the stories that seemed to repeat, but tonight, as he listened with full attention, he felt a deep sense of gratitude for the patience his father had shown him over the years.
Love wasn’t about quick fixes or constant motion. It was about slowing down, being present, and offering understanding in the quiet moments.
Evan whispered a prayer: “Help me to love with patience, to show understanding in moments of frustration, and to cherish the time I have with those I love.

Dec 23: Love in Action
Poem: Love isn’t just a word we say,
It’s in the things we do each day.
It’s in a touch, a smile, a song,
A helping hand, when things go wrong.
Love is patient, love is kind,
A gift that frees, a heart unbound.
Show it, share it, live it true,
For love is life, it starts with you.

Prayer:
God of love,
Show us how to express Your love in action.
May our deeds reflect Your compassion,
touching lives and creating a world of warmth.
Amen.
