December 22: The Fourth Sunday of Advent – Love Arrives...

"Where there is love, there is life." – Mahatma Gandhi

Dear Readers,

The air was crisp, and the streets were lined with twinkling lights as the town gathered for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. For Ivanka, it felt like the world had been waiting for this moment waiting for the love that was about to arrive.

As the congregation lit the final candle of Advent, the room was filled with a soft glow, and Ivanka felt a warmth spread across her heart. This was the love that had been promised a love that would change everything.

Love had arrived in the form of a child, born in a humble manger, but it wasn’t just any love. It was the love that transcended time, a love that called everyone to be kinder, gentler, and more compassionate.

Ivanka closed her eyes and offered a quiet prayer: “May this love touch every corner of my life, and may I carry it with me in all that I do.” She opened her eyes and smiled, knowing that this love was more than a holiday tradition it was the essence of what she was meant to share with the world.

Dec 22: The Fourth Sunday of Advent – Love Arrives

Poem:

Love arrives on this holy day,
A light that guides us, and leads the way.
It wraps us warm, it makes us whole,
It speaks to the heart, it touches the soul.
In the manger’s glow, a child’s eyes,
A love that’s deeper than the skies.
Love that heals, that holds us tight,
A promise kept in the still of the night.

Prayer:

Lord,

On this Sunday of Advent,

We celebrate the arrival of Your love.

May it fill our hearts and overflow to others,

Bringing light to a waiting world.

Amen.

Jacob M
