December 14: Peace in Nature’s Beauty...
"The earth has music for those who listen." – William Shakespeare
Dear Readers,
The snow-covered meadow stretched before Evan like a pristine canvas. He had driven to the countryside to escape the city’s holiday rush, seeking solace in nature. The air was crisp, carrying the faint scent of pine and the soft sound of a distant stream.
As he walked, his boots crunching in the snow, Evan paused to take it all in. The sun was setting, painting the sky in hues of pink and gold. Birds flitted between trees, and a family of deer grazed quietly near the edge of the forest.
For the first time in weeks, Evan felt his shoulders relax. The beauty of the scene filled him with a deep sense of peace, a reminder that the world’s natural rhythm continued regardless of human chaos.
He sat on a fallen log, letting the tranquility seep into his soul. Nature’s peace was not loud or demanding it was gentle and unyielding, a constant invitation to pause and breathe.

Dec 14: Peace in Nature’s Beauty
Poem:
The rustle of leaves, the song of the rain,
The distant hills, the forest’s refrain.
The beauty of dawn, the blush of the sky,
The gentle breeze, as time passes by.
Nature whispers, soft and true,
In its quiet way, peace is renewed.
Take a moment, let your heart be still,
In nature’s embrace, find peace’s thrill.
Prayer:
Dear God Our Creator,
We thank You for the peace we find in nature’s beauty.
Let the serenity of the earth remind us of Your presence and fill our hearts with gratitude and tranquility.
Amen.
Jacob M
