Dec 7: Hope for a Brighter Future

"The best way to predict the future is to create it." – Peter Drucker

Dear Readers,

Jacob stared at the dilapidated house he had just purchased. The roof sagged, the paint was peeling, and the front porch looked like it might collapse under his weight. But to him, it was perfect.

“This is going to be our home,” he said, turning to his young son.

“Really?” he asked skeptically.

“Really,” he said, his voice brimming with determination.

Over the following weeks, Jacob poured himself into renovations. He scraped paint, patched holes, and planted a small garden in the backyard. Each task was a labor of love, a declaration of hope for the life he envisioned for himself and his children.

One evening, as they sat on the newly repaired porch, the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink.

“See, Dada?” his son said, pointing to the garden. “The flowers are already growing.”

Jacob smiled, his heart swelling with pride. “And so are we,” he said softly.

God Bless Us All…

Jacob M
